Professor Gunnar Alvan
Professor Gunnar Alvan was previously active at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Karolinska Institutet at Huddinge University Hospital where he made clinical trials directed towards a broad spectrum of topics. 154 of his articles are listed on PUBMED. Gunnar served as Director General of the Swedish Medical Products Agency 1999-2008 and found special interest in applying clinical pharmacological principles in regulatory work.

Associate Professor Stig Thunell
Stig Thunell is associate professor at the Karolinska University Hospital and former head of the Laboratory of Clinical Biochemistry at St Göran Hospital in Stockholm. He is now active at Centre for Inherited Metabolic Diseases at the Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge where he is conducting research within the field of drug adverse effects in porphyria. Stig has published over a hundred peer-reviewed articles and contributed with chapters in textbooks and other publications, e.g. Läkemedelsboken.
